2: Crystal Party Food
Table Set Up: Start with table cloths or runners, trivets for protection, and centerpieces. Of course you’ll need plates, napkins, and cutlery with colors that match the party. You may, or may not, need cups depending on if all your drinks are already in cans, pouches, or bottles. A themed can cooler would be so cool (pun intended) to make the party guest of honor feel special.
Decorative Table Signs: Decorate small sealed bottles filled with colored water, glitter, and oil made to match the crystal aesthetic (i.e. sparkle, iridescent, glow, etc.), then tape (or glue) food labels to them. You can use our free food label printable then fill in with your creative food names.
Drinks: Mineral waters with, or without, free printable labels, shimmering punch, mocktails on the rocks, rock candy stir sticks, crystal stickers on shiny cups, and sparkling sodas.
Dessert: Themed cake as a centerpiece with sugar crystals, desserts with crystal sprinkles, gelatin cut into crystals, and crystal shaped cookies.
Food: Try serving cut fruit into rough crystal shapes, colorful corn chips, fun shaped pasta with pink sauce, bowls of party mix including pretty cereal, or charcuterie boards with unique crackers and colorful dips.

3: Crystal Party Decorations
Find Stuff Around the House: Start by seeing what you may already have on hand that will work: Salt lamps, cool lamps, jars, ribbons, fancy pillows, stuffed animals, treasures, antiques, plants, sparkly items, pretty curtains, table cloths, candles, etc.
Outside Welcome: Yard signs, balloons, door sign and decor, colorful lighting, sidewalk chalk (which is a mineral), and cute footprints leading the way.
Arrival Table: You may want to provide a small table upon entry for providing any needed instructions, tickets, stickers, activity sheets, craft supplies, even “Hello my name is” stickers, and markers for any additional identification needs. You could also add a journal book for people to sign and give greetings in.
Room Decor: Go for colors that support the theme and use staples such as balloons and streamers, then unite it all with specific theme cutouts, banners, stickers, and signage. Add flare to the lighting, such as special colored bulbs, or additional strings of light.
Centerpieces: Matching candles with crystals and minerals around them, a big crystal as an awesome helium balloon anchor, vases filled with crystals then stick in stationary balloons or signs, and ornaments tied onto a beautiful gift box.
Centerpiece that Doubles as a Game: Decorate a jar filled with crystals or minerals and guests guess how many are in the jar and closest wins a prize. You can use our free printable sign. Add a flameless tealight and finish awesome!
Stickers Everywhere: Put stickers on jars, bottles, decor items, signs, party favors, serving tray labels, clothing, accessories, and things sitting around that need a decor boost.

4: Crystal Party activities
Photo Booth: You'll need some sort of background; try combining some of these: curtains, balloons, streamers, posters, flags, wall decor, fabric, projections, or photography backdrops.
Offer costumes and accessories, such as hats, vests, belts, masks, crystal shaped pillows, reals crystals, scarves, fun DIY headbands, wings, and capes.

Provide tools- shovels, sifters, rakes, buckets, brushes, and baggies for the finds.
Pet Rock Station: Host a pet rock adoption area with choice of one special crystal or mineral, optional to add eyes or other features, and other caretaking items, then have guest complete a certificate; and finally take home in a small take home box or bag.
Outdoor Adventure: Hide crystal treasures in a backyard, or at the park, and let the guests find a certain amount each. Perhaps harder to find ones are a bit pricier, or clues and/or maps are given.
Indoor Adventure: Scavenger hunt time! Provide a list of themed things (how long depends of the age group) for guests to find around the party areas, such as “teddy bear with birthday shirt”, “miner with patch”, “three gold balloons together”, “blue footprint”, etc.
Making Crystals: Use pretty play doughs or clay bases and add all sorts of mix ins, such as, glitter, confetti, colorful sand; and use crystal or themed molds to make shapes.
Growing Crystals: Borax crystal growing on pipe cleaners is a fun activity where the crystals grow pretty quickly. Other crystal growing options that are safe and fun but take longer: salt, sugar, alum, or Epsom salt.
Making Jewelry: Craft crystal bracelets, necklaces, or earrings, etc. To make this a quicker activity you can affordably buy a bunch of gemstone cage necklaces and have guests pick their own color and gemstone to put into the necklace.
Crystal Geode Smashing: Sure to be hit! (pun intended) Safety is very important with this one, and have extras in case there is a dud or if the smashing otherwise goes sideways.
Crystal Origami: Probably best for older guests, but using pretty crystal themed paper try some crystal origami designs; there are many types and skill level options available. If time allows have one already made as a sample (& décor!)
Rock Painting: Start this one early to give time to let the paint dry. Try rocks with crystal-ish shapes and paint them with sparkling paints. Have plenty of extra rocks on hand in case there is a mistake and so they have more choices when they pick their stone
Crystal Pinata: Probably save this toward the end to encourage the goodies to be taken home to be played with or eaten. Crystal shaped piñatas could be made more easily DIY than say an animal, or you might find one online.
Side Activities: Coloring pages, stacking stones, crystal garden in the sand, sidewalk chalk, play something on tv that goes with the theme (such as brief documentaries or animated shorts), play Crystal Paper Scissors, or have a themed tattoo station.

5: Crystal Party Music
Pick Your Theme Songs: Such as Crystal by Stevie Nicks, or songs from artists like Crystal Waters or Crystal Gayle
Make a Playlist: This is a sure way to be certain the songs are filtered as needed. Add all the primary theme songs, then include songs related to the occasion, season, or holiday, such as songs wishing the guest of honor a happy birthday.
Karaoke: If you have any mics, speakers, party boxes, Bluetooth speakers, karaoke gear, dance lighting, or any other means of making a sing-a-long fun, now is the time to bust it all out!
A Band: You could also bust out musical gear and instruments and let the guests make music, and sing. This could be additional to Karaoke or just instrumental. Or you could always hire a professional band or DJ!
Crystal Sound Bath: Crystal bowls, and other crystal instruments, are becoming more popular for creating mediative and healing sounds. You could hire someone to provide a mediation session; this would be great for teens and older.
